Hello! I'm Deborah, a passionate fashion and costume designer with a flair for storytelling. I moved from Brazil to Portugal a few years ago to have international work experiences, big opportunities and self growth, beyond knowing people from around the world.

I consider myself an extremely organized person with great time management, and I believe I adapt easily for always being a fast learner. I like working with big teams, and I also enjoy having autonomy.

My professional experiences are based on fashion design, costume styling and video producing, but I also like to dedicate my free time to other artistic personal projects, such as illustrations, photography and writting.

After working as a Fashion Design Assistant, I later took control of the boys collection for Arte Menor, one of the company's brand. I did the research, selection of color palettes, fabrics and trims, did the prints briefings, digital designs, technical files, pattern trials, approval meetings, decided looks for the photoshoots and fashion films, conference of the catalogs, sales meetings with the agents and work travels.

As an assistant in the Design department, I was responsible for sketching the designs and technical files, as well as the accompaniment of the proto sample developments in the sewing department, printing department, embroidery department and so on, until the collection was complete. Then, I accompanied the approval meeting and helped on the styling for photoshoots and fashion films.

As I have always been passionate about cinema, I started to study cinema directing & production to be closer to this art. During the course, the students worked on short films, where I experienced being an art director, a costume stylist, a writer and a director for different short films. This made me start a career in fashion styling, meet local people from this business and work in other projects after the course.
